Tramane is director and educator from East New York, Brooklyn. 

His artistic practice is rooted in seeking the truth through stories. He is mostly drawn to the stories of marginalized and working-class people and uses stories to inspire new questions/understanding. Community projects are geared towards meeting folks where they're at and creating new gathering spaces in underserved neighborhoods. Stories have a way of bringing us together and giving us a sense of navigation.
